Enrollment for New Families

Registration for 2024-25 will be available in April! If you would like to get an early start, please collect the documents listed below so that they are ready when registration opens.

This page is for families who have accepted an offer to enroll. If you have not applied yet, please go to our Application Information Page.

If you have received and accepted an offer for your student to attend Urban Montessori Charter School for the 2024-2025 school year, 

  • We will accept scanned registration documents via upload to enroll your child. The list of documents is in our Enrollment Checklist, below.
  • The Registration system will collect information including phone numbers, which are used for official communication. Parents / Guaridans may opt out of text messaging on the registration platform, prior to registration, or on the school Parent Portal during enrollment. Families may also reach out to the IT office to opt out.
  • Our portal is online at Online Enrollment System
  • If you are unable to complete your child’s registration online, please reach out to the Enrollment Office at enrollment@urbanmontessori.org or by phone at 510-842-1182.

  3. Health Examination for School Entry Form
  4. Oral Health Assessment Form
  5. Release of Records (for Grades 1+)
  6. Free and Reduced Lunch application (also confirms eligibility for other programs including free and reduced-cost after school program. Not required to enroll.)

Utilizing the Enrollment Checklist is essential to ensure you have gathered all required registration documents for submission and enrollment. We can only enroll students with complete enrollment packets.

  • Once you have those files ready, you can begin uploading documents to our secure portal at Online Enrollment System.

IMMUNIZATION REQUIREMENTS BY STATE LAW

California schools are required to check immunization records for all new student admissions at TK/Kindergarten through 12th grade and all students advancing to 7th grade before entry. Parents must show their child's Immunization Record as proof of immunization. Here’s a link for the parents’ guide to required immunization.

After School Programming

After school programming is available through the Expanded Learning program. Our after school program runs until 6 PM. Information about joining the after school program will be shared with families after they are fully registered to attend Urban Montessori.
